Product Description
 The tank arrester is an AC gapless gas-insulated metal-enclosed metal oxide arrester designed to protect sulphur hexafluoride gas-insulated substation combined electrical equipment (GIS) to prevent lightning and operational over-voltage impact damage, referred to as GIS arrester. Our company develops and operates GIS arresters including 72.5kV-252kV grades, and no quality accidents occur after 6 years of installation and operation. In order to comply with the development trend of GIS, our company has developed large-capacity high-gradient metal oxide resistors to meet the needs of miniaturized GIS on the market. The structure of the arrester adopts a special structural design scheme to ensure that the resistive piece will not loosen during bumpy transportation and strong vibration, and will not cause partial discharge due to this; it is required to be installed in the form of dressing, paperback or flip-chip. The specification of the arrester is based on the relevant standards and long-term operation experience of the arrester. It is hoped that the user can correctly use, standardize the test and observe regularly to play the role of the arrester protection and ensure the safe operation of the GIS.

The product is mainly composed of a zinc oxide valve piece, a pressure equalizing cover, a casing, a monitor for a lightning arrester, a basin insulator and an electrical connector. The main component of the zinc oxide valve is enclosed in a grounded metal housing, one end is connected to the ground through a monitor for the arrester, and the other end is electrically connected to the electrical circuit of the enclosed appliance through an electrical connection. The inside of the casing is filled with SF6 gas of 0.4 MPa to 0.50 MPa as an insulating medium, and the product has excellent performance.
 
 
working principle
The zinc oxide valve sheet has excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, and its volt-ampere characteristic curve is shown in Fig. 1. When an overvoltage occurs in the system, the zinc oxide valve sheet exhibits a low resistance state (ie, a conduction state) at a normal operating voltage. Underneath, it exhibits a high-resistance state, and the current flowing through the arrester is small, and the system is almost insulated from the earth. It is the oxide arrester that protects the zinc oxide. When the substation is exposed to atmospheric (thunder), operational shock or other overvoltages, the oxide arrester first releases the overvoltage energy and limits the overvoltage amplitude to the allowable value of the insulation of the protected electrical equipment, leaving A certain safety margin, after which the oxide arrester returns to a high-resistance state, so that the power system works normally.
